Fruit of Our Labor

I have been ministering to the children for almost seven years now. With the span of seven years many times I have felt ineffective and sometimes I would say that the children didn't grow. Sometimes I want to quit teaching because it seems that there is no improvement in the lives of the children and I am not fitting to be their teacher.

A saying from John Wesley encourages me to go on and be faithful on the ministry the Lord entrusted to me. He has given me an encouragement that if I have not seen the success the we don't know how the Lord has seen it. He has known every hearts of the children and he knows the growth in them.

This is not just an encouragement for me but to all ministers out there who would sometimes feel discouraged and wanting to quit and give up because it seem that the growth is so slow. Indeed, we should be faithful in doing God's work and let us not count success because success is of the Lord. I know someday that the Lord will reward the labor we have done. So all we have to do is to continue working, endure and allow God to work through you.
